GRANTS OF 1,649,000 LEI FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

Women entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova can obtain grants for export-oriented and innovation-oriented businesses. The Organization for the Development of  Small and Medium Enterprises Sector (ODIMM) has launched the Component III of the Program  “Women in Business” – a support for developing companies - which offers non-reimbursable financing of up to 1,649,000 lei.

"The pandemic crisis has made us revise our plans and find new development opportunities. To help women implement the most innovative projects, we are launching, together with ODIMM, the program "Women in Business". Through it, grants of over 1 million lei can be obtained. The money can be used to purchase equipment and machinery, software and consultancy ", states Sergiu Railean, the Minister  of Economy and Infrastructure.

According to the General Director of ODIMM, Iulia Costin, companies created and managed by women who have been operating in the Republic of Moldova for more than two years and who plan to increase their turnover and the number of employees by expanding their market can apply for this programme: "We call on all women entrepreneurs who meet the eligibility criteria to submit a standard concept note, a simplified business plan, in the electronic version on the official page of ODIMM".


The contest for large grants takes place in three stages:

• Stage I - Completion and submission of a standard concept note - simplified business plan in the electronic version on the official website of ODIMM - www.odimm.md. The concept notes will be analyzed, on the basis of the evaluation grid, by the Program Evaluation Committee set up within ODIMM and independent experts (by the case);

• Stage II – Entrepreneurs, selected after  the evaluation of the Concept Notes, will be invited to present their investment projects to the Evaluation Committee and independent experts (by the case);

• Stage III - Applicants selected at the Stage II, within 30 calendar days from the notification date, will be invited to complete the Stage III Participation Form and submit the entire set of documents both in physical and electronic form.

Dossiers with the description of the Concept Notes will be received by ODIMM online by April 26, 2020.
